FAFSA

FAFSA Steps

1.) Before you complete your FAFSA you will need to create an FAFSA ID. You can do that by going to https://fsaid.ed.gov

2.) You will need a copy of your parents and your 2019 taxes (if you worked).

3.) Only use the FAFSA website. Do not pay to get your FAFSA done! www.fasfa.ed.gov

4.) If you would like help over Zoom, you and your parent(s) cam fill out a request form with our TRIO liaison Melody Lawrence at https://eoc-intake.ku.edu/intake or email her at [email protected]

FAFSA is not required, and schools use it to determine grant and loan eligibility, but it can be used for certain scholarships as well. Counselors encourage students thinking about going to college to complete the FAFSA.
