Course selection suggested based on Post Secondary Goals:

Science Course Information

  • 501 Graduation Requirements: 1 credit Biology + 2 other science credits

  • KBOR: 1 credit Biology + 1 credit Chemistry OR Physics + 1 other science credit

  • Kansas Honor Scholar: 1 credit Biology + 1 credit Chemistry + 1 credit Physics

Math Course Information

  • 501 Graduation Requirements: 1 credit Algebra + 1 credit Geometry + 1 other math credit (Pre-Algebra or Algebra 2 or Applied Math)

    • KBOR: Minimum of Algebra 1 + Geometry + Algebra 2

  • 22 on math portion of ACT OR a 4th year of math is required

  • Kansas Honor Scholar: Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and one credit beyond Algebra 2

English Course Information

  • 501 Graduation Requirements: English 9 + English 10 + English 11 + Speech Credit + LA Elective

  • KBOR: 4 Years of English to include a semester of composition and literature (senior)

  • Kansas Honor Scholar: Same as KBOR

Other

  • Kansas Honor Scholar: 2 years of the same Foreign Language
