Character Students of the Month

In cooperation with the District Counseling Office, Topeka West departments name"Character Students of the Month." Since Topeka is a City of Character, many departments have chosen a character term for a given month to celebrate students who display the characteristics of that word. Students are recognized through a display in the library media center and daily announcements. Ms. Paula Vinson, Division 2 Counselor, coordinates the program at Topeka West.
