Departmental News
The Topeka West photography program has started an online blog (short for "web log") that all Topeka West students (especially photography students!), faculty, staff, and family of Topeka West students are invited to browse. The Photosynthesis blog can be found at http://twestphotosynthesis.blogspot.com and topics covered include student photographic work, student websites, pictorial examples of assignments, and how photography is changing in the 21st century.
Washburn University is offering a full ride Art Scholarship called the
Busick Scholarship. The recipient of the first Busick Scholarship
is T-West’s Jessica McKinnie!! Congrats, Jess!! Great
job!
Daniel Ornelas won the Heritage Week Art
Award for his colored marker jaguar. His work will be purchased and put
on permanent display in the Media Center. Thanks for all of your support
and votes for the juried work.
