Topeka West High School Departments

Fifteen departments, which encompass all areas of knowledge and student abilities, make up the currirculum at TWHS. A chairperson respresents each area to improve the instructional program and provide close cooperation within each department. Departmental chairpersons meet monthly with the administration to consider curriculum matters. These meetings are chaired by Curriculum Corridinator, Sarah Thomas.
Various departments offer special projects or fundraising events throughout the year. Some departments are also represented with departmental clubs.
