MACESA

Macesa is a consortium of universities, businesses, and school districts. The goals are to encourage women and minority students to enter the fields of engineering or science/technology. The major components of the program are career awareness, academic counseling, test readiness, study skills, tutoring, college awareness, and MACESA Summer Institute. To be a member, students need to enroll in math, science, and language arts each year and maintain a 2.5 GPA and attend activities regularly.

Chemistry instructor Ms. Joann Walker is the sponsor.
