Athletics
Topeka West High School offers a variety of men's and women's sports. Varsity, junior varsity, and freshman teams are formed for several of the sports. The school encourages interested students to participate in these offerings.
Topeka West adheres to the Kansas State High School Activities Association School sportsmanship code. Students and parents represent the entire school; conduct reflects on the students, staff and community. For a calendar of all TW athletic events, check out HighSchoolSports.net.

* Gym Entrances Please Note---The addition of the new gym has created the need to change some facility use and security procedures on game days. The addition of the east entrance as an official handicapped entrance has also necessitated some changes. The north entrance to the gym will be locked to prevent entrance on that side of the building. The west entrance will be open for all games, varsity and sub-varsity. The east entrance will be used on varsity nights only. The north lobby restrooms will not be open for subvarsity games and lights will be off in the lobby area. On varsity games, those restrooms will be available but north entry doors will be locked and designated as emergency exit only.
